Added a ‘Move In Prepayment Window’ Feature to the SightMap Calculator. 

With this feature, the SightMap calculator can include both the prorated rent for the move in month and the full rent for the following month in the 'Est. Move In Costs' total - for use in situations where the selected move in date is late in the month.

What’s changing?

The SightMap calculator now supports a "Move-In Prepayment Window". This feature allows property teams to charge both the prorated rent for the move-in month and the full rent for the following month when a prospect selects a move-in date near the end of the month. Property teams can configure how many days before month-end this applies by defining a prepayment window (e.g., last 5 days of the month). This feature went live in February 2026.

What to expect:

Properties that enable this feature will see more accurate and transparent move-in cost estimates in the SightMap calculator. When a prospective renter selects a move-in date within the configured window, the calculator will display two 'Total Monthly Rent' line items in the 'Move In Costs': (1.) prorated rent for the current month, (2.) full rent for the following month. This gives prospective residents clear visibility into the total amount due at move-in and why additional rent is included.
