Added a 'Unit Label' Field to SightMap. 

What's changing? 

We've introduced a new 'Unit Label' field that provides a display-friendly label separate from internal unit numbers. This allows for greater flexibility in how units appear to your prospects and residents. This update went live in August 2025.

What to expect: 

All unit displays on SightMap (both embed and landing page) now use the new 'Unit Label' field. This provides a cleaner, more customized unit identification while maintaining robust internal data structure for your property management system.

What do you need to do? 

No action is required. Your existing unit numbers continue to display normally as the system automatically uses your current 'Unit Number' as the fallback when no custom label is set. To customize unit labels, navigate to the 'Units' endpoint in the SightMap REST API to set a personalized ‘label' value that better reflect your property's unit naming conventions.
