Added Considerations for ‘Per Installment’ Fees in the ‘All In Pricing’ Endpoint of the SightMap API.

All-in pricing now reflects the true total cost for renters by including per-installment fees—improving accuracy and reducing pricing discrepancies, especially for student housing.

What's changing? 

The SightMap REST API's "All-In Pricing" endpoint now includes required expenses with a ‘per_installment’ frequency in the total monthly price calculation. Previously, these expenses (which are primarily used in student housing) were excluded from the total price logic despite being functionally equivalent to required monthly costs. This update went live in February 2026.

What to expect: 

API consumers will see more accurate total pricing data from the ‘All-In Pricing ‘endpoint. All required costs are now fully reflected in the API response, ensuring that downstream integrations and partner systems receive complete pricing calculations.

No action is required. This update has been automatically applied to the ‘All-In Pricing’ endpoint in the SightMap REST API.
