Added initial support for leasing URLs in the SightMap REST API.
What's changed?
A new read-only endpoint in the SightMap REST API returns the online leasing apply URL for every available unit in a pricing process, allowing partners to send renters straight into the PMS provider's apply flow.
GET /v1/assets/{asset}/multifamily/pricing/{process}/leasing
The response includes one entry per available unit with the asset, unit, unit number, provider type, apply URL, and apply label. Apply URLs are returned without a move-in date or lease term, so the Consumer's leasing site owns that choice. For providers that do not support a shareable link, the apply URL is returned as null .
The apply URL logic is now shared between the REST API and the SightMap embed, so both build leasing links from a single source of truth.
What's important or valuable about this change?
• Direct-to-apply routing: Consumers who suppress the SightMap unit modal can still route renters into the provider's apply flow.
• Consistent links across surfaces: The API and the SightMap embed now generate apply URLs from the same logic, removing the risk of the two drifting apart.
• Predictable handling of unsupported providers: Providers without a shareable link return null rather than a malformed URL.
How do I get started?
1. Request access to the online-leasing-resource experimental flag for your account.
2. Confirm your API credential has the sightmap.instances.read-leasing permission.
3. Call GET /v1/assets/{asset}/multifamily/pricing/{process}/leasing for the asset and pricing process you need.
4. Use the returned apply URL to link renters directly into the provider's apply flow, appending a move-in date or lease term if your leasing site requires one.
