Added Unit-Level Address Support to the SightMap REST API.

What’s changing?

SightMap now supports address information at the individual unit level. Six new address fields are now available for: [Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State/Province, Country, and Postal Code]. This update went live in January 2026.

What to expect:

API consumers can now view, store, and manage address details directly on individual units. This address support is independent of the parent asset’s address. This is especially valuable for properties with overlapping buildings, shared campuses, or unique delivery and access considerations.

The new fields mirror the existing Asset-level address structure, providing a familiar and consistent data model. Unit-level addresses are fully supported across Atlas and the REST API, ensuring seamless integration for partners and API consumers who require precise location data.

What do you need to do?

No action is required. This update has been automatically applied to Atlas and the SightMap REST API. API consumers can optionally begin adding unit-level address data. Note: All fields are optional and follow the same validation rules as Asset-level addresses. See the SightMap API docs for this change.
