Street View Resets Correctly When Switching Assets

What was the issue? When a user was viewing Google Maps Street View for one asset and navigated to a different asset, Street View did not reset. The map remained locked to the previous asset’s location — showing the wrong address with no indication anything had changed.

Who was affected and when? Any Asset Intelligence user who navigated between assets while Street View was active. The issue affected the Google Maps embed across all assets.

What’s improved with this fix? - Correct location on asset switch: Street View now resets when navigating to a new asset, displaying the correct location. - No silent data errors: Users can no longer view location context for the wrong asset without realizing it.

When did it change? This update went live in July 2026.
