Added a New Endpoint to the SightMap REST API, That Serves Expenses Data in MITS XML Format.

What's changing?

We've launched a new endpoint in the SightMap REST API that serves data in the MITS 5.0 XML format. This endpoint consolidates asset, floor plan, and expense data into a single, standardized response format designed for seamless integration with major ILS providers and API partners who require MITS formatting. This update went live in November 2025.

What to expect:

The new endpoint streamlines data delivery by combining property marketing information in one API call, eliminating the need for multiple requests. A daily automated refresh process keeps data current without impacting performance during consumption. The endpoint automatically filters response data based on your API permissions, ensuring secure and appropriate access. This enhancement enables smoother data exchange with listing services and partners that rely on MITS 5.0 standards.

What do you need to do?

To use the new MITS endpoint, ensure your API key has the required API permissions to read floor plan and expense data. Call: GET: https://api.sightmap.com/v1/assets/{asset}/multifamily/mits/ils with the ‘mits-ils-resource’ Experimental Flag passed in.
