Modernized and Updated the SightMap "Map Locator App".

The SightMap "Map Locator App" (available at https://sightmap.com/locator) has been updated and optimized to provide a better user experience.

What's changing? 

Updates include refined logic for how it locates, filters, and displays property maps. This update went live in February 2026.

What to expect: 

The app now delivers more accurate and relevant results when helping visitors, delivery drivers, and prospects find their way around a property. Location matching has been tightened to a 0.1-mile radius so the app loads the correct asset, not one nearby. Search results are now filtered to a 1.0-mile radius, reducing noise. For assets with navigation data, the app now automatically loads in “Directions Mode”, so visitors can navigate on-site immediately. Under the hood, all dependencies have been updated for improved performance, security, and maintainability.

What do you need to do? 

No action is required. These updates have been automatically applied to the "Map Locator App". Visitors scanning QR code or using the app will experience the improvements immediately.
