Product Updates: Spaces 2.6.0

We’re excited to share the latest enhancements in Spaces 2.6.0, focused on improving control, flexibility, and performance.

Reminder: Spaces 2.0 and newer versions require the upgraded Timber plugin.

New Features

New Cache Management Screen in CMS
Gain visibility and control over transient caches directly in the Spaces CMS. This new admin screen shows each cache’s last build time and includes a button to manually rebuild — no code or background jobs required.

Global Toggle to Hide Apply CTA
A new toggle under Global Options > Availability allows admins to hide the Apply CTA across all units. The CTA will no longer appear on unit index, unit detail, or floor plan views when enabled. This can also be configured at the asset level for more precision.

Hide Affordable Units When Showing Unavailable Floor Plans
A new setting gives you the option to hide affordable units when the "Show Unavailable Floor Plans" setting is enabled — offering more control over how units display on your site.

Improvements

Faster Global Settings Saves
We’ve removed unnecessary cache rebuilds triggered when saving global settings. This improves performance and reduces server load.

Restored Debug Mode Functionality
Spaces Debug Mode now works as intended, bypassing the cache and loading fresh data. This ensures accurate testing and faster troubleshooting.

Improved Script Tag Compatibility
We now load the spaces_scripts.js file using WordPress’s native plugin directory method. This ensures scripts load correctly even in renamed or non-standard plugin folders (like in QA environments).

Standardized Vendor Script Tags
Vendor scripts have been standardized across environments for more consistent behavior and fewer plugin folder conflicts.

Automatic Cache Rebuild After Pricing & Availability Import
After each successful P&A import, Spaces now automatically rebuilds the cache so your data stays fresh without manual intervention.

Student Housing Mode UX Enhancement
In Student Housing Mode, we’ve removed anchor links on floor plan images to eliminate unnecessary page jumps and streamline navigation.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Asset-Level Sort Overrides
  Asset-level sort settings now correctly override global sort settings when defined, and fall back to the default only when unset.
