What’s new in Spaces 2.14

This release includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes shipped since Spaces 2.13.

New Features

  • Automated Specials: Unit specials are now imported automatically from the CMS, eliminating the need for manual entry. Once configured, specials stay current without additional effort.

  • Quick Search & URL Deep Linking: Spaces now supports URL fragment-based navigation, allowing direct links to specific floor plans or units. Useful for embedding links in emails, ads, or other digital touchpoints.

  • WordPress Auto-Updates: The Spaces plugin now supports WordPress’s native auto-update mechanism, making it easier to stay current on the latest releases without manual plugin management.

  • LD+JSON Structured Data: Spaces now outputs LD+JSON schema markup, improving SEO indexability for properties using Spaces on their website.

Improvements

  • Sort Options: Previously missing sort options are now available in the unit list view.

  • Scroll-to-Top on Detail View: Navigating to a unit or plan detail now scrolls the page to the top automatically.

  • Desktop Layout: A fixed 2-column grid layout is now consistently maintained on desktop viewports.

  • Image Contain Styling: Legacy image contain behavior has been restored for Spaces App, matching prior display expectations.

  • Default Import Schedules: Import schedules are now pre-configured with sensible defaults on activation.

  • Map Override Event: A new developer event allows the SightMap embed to be overridden programmatically by the host page.

Bug Fixes

  • Pricing Hidden When P&A Disabled: Pricing was incorrectly displaying when Pricing & Availability was turned off. This is now corrected.

  • Lease Term Pricing in Base Rent Mode: Price display was not updating correctly when selecting a lease term in base rent display mode. This has been resolved.

  • Bed & Bath Label Format: Bedroom and bathroom counts on unit and plan detail views were showing full strings instead of the expected short format. Labels now display correctly.
