Updated the UI/UX Layout of the SightMap ‘Calculator Modal’.
What's changing?
We've made several improvements to how expenses are displayed in the SightMap calculator to create a clearer, more intuitive experience. These updates address customer feedback about stepped expenses and enhance the overall organization of the calculator interface. These changes went live in October 2025.
What to expect:
The calculator now provides better clarity around stepped expenses (expenses where price varies by quantity). You'll see accurate price ranges that reflect the true low-to-high costs, and new tooltip messaging that explicitly indicates when an expense varies by quantity. For properties with multiple pet-related expenses, each timing segment (monthly, move-in, application) now has its own dedicated tooltip, making it easier to understand what fees apply when.
Additionally, we've improved consistency across the calculator interface. Expenses are now organized by the same groupings (like Parking, Storage, Pets) on both sides of the calculator modal, making it easier to track expenses from selection through to the pricing summary.
What do you need to do?
No action is required. These improvements have been automatically applied to all SightMap calculator modals and will enhance the prospect experience immediately.
